VRBO and Cave Point County Park | Megan and Ryan's Wedding
I could tell you about how awesome Megan and Ryan are, and how I’d love if they moved to Door County so we could hangout.
Or I could just say, “Thank you for the memories, and I wish you many more.” Congratulations Megan and Ryan.
Garden Gables | Leah and Les's Champagne and Cake Wedding
I was thrilled when Rachel at Pink Door Events called me with a unique way to give back. It was called Champagne and Cake, and the goal was to find a couple whose wedding was severely affected by COVID-19 and give them the celebration of their dreams.
Meyer Theatre's Backstage | Shane and Michelle's Wedding
Shane and Michelle’s wedding was personally special because my wife and family were on the guest list (I would have also been a guest had I not been the photographer). It was a surreal day having two of my normally-separate worlds collide, but I really appreciated seeing Becky, my wife, smiling from the crowd and helping me with light stands :)
Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor | Clare and Evan's Wedding
Let’s play “Two Truths and a Lie.”
Not only did Evan and Clare start dating in early 2019, but they also married each other twice by the end of October.
Stone Harbor Resort | Megan and Waldo's Wedding
One… Two… Three… THROW!
Again Waldo went up, then up a little more, and then up even more; I have never seen a grown man get launched so high in my entire life!
Crossroads at Big Creek | Kate and Kieth's 10 Year Vow Renewal
A decade later Kate and Kieth redid their wedding, and this time it was done their way. We found a spot in the woods for just the two of them, Sean (one of my best friends who was visiting from Madison) officiated the ceremony, their two dogs joined us for family portraits, and it was exactly what they wanted.
Landmark Resort | Elianna and Andrew's Wedding
I first met Elianna and Andrew for their family session back in March. Fast forward nearly seven months and they’ve exchanged falling snow for falling leaves, their youngest daughter’s carrier for walking shoes, and rings for their left hands. I’ve really enjoyed our journey together, and I look forward to watching their family continue to grow in the coming years. What will have changed the next time we meet? I’m not sure, but I’m excited to find out :)
Woodwalk Gallery | Libby and Alex's Wedding
If I’m being honest, I’ve had Libby and Alex’s wedding circled, starred, and highlighted on my calendar since I photographed their engagement session last December; I “clicked” with them as much as I have with any other couple in my career. I loved getting to know them over the last year, and watching their wedding enfold exactly how they envisioned was incredibly rewarding. Thanks for everything you two, and congratulations.
