  • 2016 was my most defining year. I founded Tandem Photography after graduating from UW-Madison with a chemistry degree, got married, and grew my mustache!

  • My wife and I are Door County natives and live in Sturgeon Bay.

  • I throw birthday parties for my cats, Basil and Jester.

  • My free time is almost always devoted to tennis or Magic the Gathering. If I’m not playing, I’m likely researching string tensions or designing new decks. Hobbies are a big deal to me!

  • My favorite meal is White Gull’s Eggs Benedict and Hash Browns, but I’m also a sucker for fresh baked cookies and bread with butter.

  • I’d rather camp than stay in a hotel. Reserve Newport State Park’s site 16 if you can get it!

  • I wanted to be a cowboy when I was a kid.

  • I’m quite introverted in my day-to-day life, but I can turn on the charm when photographing weddings. I love a slow, recharge day afterwards!
