Proposal FAQs

  • Absolutely! We’ll schedule a phone call to develop a plan you can feel confident with. We regularly work with couples who have never been to Door County before!

  • Our proposal sessions are 30 minutes. We’ll capture your big moment and the excitement that follows!

  • The full session fee is due upon booking. This allows us to spend more time shooting and to deliver your images faster!

  • All of our prices are available online with a goal to be as transparent as possible. Our packages include all taxes, fees, and up to 90 miles of travel!

  • We’re often booked with weddings, but we photograph proposals if we’re free!

  • We have yearly permits for Door County State Parks, but the Ridges Sanctuary and several commercial properties require single-use permits.

  • Life can be unpredictable! We can always postpone your session for a later date (your session fee never expires). With that said, we recommend waiting to book your session until you’re certain you’ll be available.

  • Weather happens, and that’s ok! Our first option is to adjust our session date and/or time. If adjusting our session doesn’t work for your schedule, we can move indoors, use our clear umbrellas, or simply embrace the weather! Does it look like rain for your session? Give us a call and we’ll make a plan!

  • You’ll have all your finalized photographs within a week of your session.

    Can’t wait to post online? We have an option for 24 hour delivery!

  • We edit and deliver every image we think you might enjoy, and we typically deliver roughly an image per minute of shooting.

  • Absolutely! All our sessions include a full set of digital files and printing rights; share your photos with your friends and family too!

  • If the person you’re proposing to likes having their nails done, make sure they get their nails done!

    Not sure how to do it without raising suspicion? Ask one of their friends or a family member to take them!
