Fish Creek's Sunset Beach and Clark Park | A 50th Anniversary Photo Session

I had two 50th anniversary photo sessions today, and the morning session began at Sunset Beach Park before ending at Clark Park in Fish Creek. My Fish Creek session is my most popular one as you can tell by my write-ups, and the results are completely different whether if we’re shooting in the morning or the evening.

Sunset Beach Park is actually best photographed in the morning if you want to be by the water, whereas it’s typically too bright in the evening so we stick to the wooded trails.

Clark Park on the other hand works pretty well regardless of morning vs. evening, but we just have to flip the park around to work with the bright sun at our backs.

But enough of the boring stuff!

Mr. and Mrs. White have been married for 50 years, and they wanted a family photo session to mark the occasion. Together they have five grandchildren, and I asked the kids about their favorite thing to do with their grandparents and they said, “Make box forts!” I haven’t made a box fort in years; add that to my to-do list!
